I provide motivational interviewing trainings primarily through Boost Oregon, a non-profit based out of Portland, OR focused health and vaccine education. We provide in-person and virtual trainings of varied lengths that can be tailored to meet the needs of organizations and individuals, covering a wide variety of applications of MI. I have previously conducted trainings at the Oregon State Hospital focused on MI for people with serious mental health challenges. I provide interactive, engaging classes tailored for participants with a wide variety of professional and educational backgrounds. Audiences have included psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, community health workers, direct care workers, dieticians, and leadership/managers. I have also trained lawyers in Deschutes County as part of an effort to support movement towards a more progressive culture in the district attorney's office.
