25th June 2020 The Public Service Fund The Public Service Fund (PSF) helps people with limited financial resources participate in a MINT-sponsored Training of New Trainers (TNT) or the annual MINT Forum. Applications for subsidies are reviewed by members of the PSF Committee. People living in low economic development regions and places that are underserved by MI practitioners, as well as people employed in professions where salaries are low and funding for continuing education is limited, are especially encouraged to apply.

Issue 3 of MITRIP Has Been Published!

2nd February 2015 The new issue of Motivational Interviewing: Training, Research, Implementation, Practice, MINT’s open access online journal, is now available at www.mitrip.org. You can download individual articles or the complete issue free of charge for your own use.

MITI 4.1 Now available

24th January 2015 This is the latest version of the Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity instrument (4.1; December 2014).

13th International Conference on Treatment of Addictive Behaviors

2nd December 2014 Mark your calendar for the 13th International Conference on Treatment of Addictive Behaviors (ICTAB-13) to be held in Odense, Denmark (the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen) from May 31 – June 4, 2015.  Founded in 1979, the ICTAB series brings together clinicians and researchers from the addiction treatment field to explore new science and developments relevant to clinical practice.

Clarification of MITI Thresholds

24th May 2014 A new document has been developed by Terri Moyers, Jen Manuel and Denise Ernst in consultation with Bill Miller. The document clarifies terminology used in the MITI 3.1.1 manual and in MI-3, lays the groundwork for further changes that will be coming in MITI 4.0, and clarifies MINT policy related to the TNT application review process. The 3rd International Symposium on Motivational Interviewing in Melbourne, Australia and The Nordic International Conference on Motivational Interviewing in Norrköping, Sweden (NIKMI).
